All weekend :
> Miniature reconstruction of the Grand’Rue of Bastogne in 1944
> In front of the Museum : free exhibition :« Art Liberty. From the Berlin Wall to Street Art »
> Military tents outside : static display and sale of items and documents relates to the Second World War
> Exhibition of debris from a P-61A-5 Black Widow (“Jukin Judy”) aircraft belonging to 422nd NFS crashed near Bastogne on December 27, 1944
> “Share your WWII story” : contemporary of the Second World War or not, take advantage of our recording studio to share your anecdote or that of a close
– Friday Dec. 13 : (Museum open from 9.30 am to 8 pm, last entrance at 6 pm. Shop, Patton’s canteen and cafeteria are open 10.30 pm) :
> Signing session of authors, designers and photographers of the Battle of the Bulge (Philippe Jarbinet, Andrew Biggio, Andy Kutler, Hugues Wenkin, Peter Caddick-Adams, Pierre Muller, Christian Dujardin, Robert Allen, Christer Bergström et Laurent Rodange)
> On reservation : Patton’s canteen: 75th anniversary special menu in a year 40 atmosphere tent. You can reserve here.
> 1 pm to 3 pm : “Meet and Greet” with about 15 veterans
– Saturday Dec. 14 : (Museum open from 9.30 am to 8 pm, last entrance at 6 pm. Shop, Patton’s canteen and cafeteria are open 10.30 pm) :
– Sunday Dec. 15 : activities planned at the Bastogne War Museum will take place at the Espace 23 (Gustave Delperdange street – 6600 Bastogne) :
> Meeting with veterans : Joe WATSON, Chester BUCK SLOAN, Vincent SPERANZA, Jurgen TEGETHOFF, 3 veterans of “brigade Piron” and 4 american veterans.
> 12.30 am to 2 pm : Meet Shane Taylor, actor of “Doc” Roe in Band of Brothers, Chris Langlois, real grandson of Eugene “Doc” Roe and Matthew Leitch, actor in Band of Brothers.”
